Accessibility
The Wharncliffe website has been built to meet the latest standards in accessiblity and usability. To do this our website is built upon valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional, this means that these documents can easily be transported to wireless devices, Braille readers and other specialised web environments.
As XHTML is a rule based mark-up language it helps avoid the kind of errors that can make it fail in traditional browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and Opera Software’s Opera. We would recommend using a modern web standards based browser such as Firefox
So what does this mean? It means that as many people as possible from a wide range of circumstances, and who use different devices, operating systems and browsers can access our site and conduct business.
