Tour of Britain Cycle Race

Yorkshire and Humber will host stage five of the Tour of Britain cycle race 2008. The Yorkshire leg takes in some of the best urban and rural landscapes in the region.
The key feature of the opening section of the stage will be a double crossing of the Humber Bridge, before heading north to Beverley and then east to the coast.
The final hour of the stage, racing inland from Scarborough to Dalby Forest features three E ON King of the Mountain climbs, all coming in quick succession as the race reaches the finale in the forest.
